The Dishwater Puzzles: Volume I - Logical Deduction Grid Problem Book

A selection of 200 positional logic puzzles ranging from tricky to taxing. The rules are simple, but the reader will require concentration, logic and deductive reasoning to find the solutions.

The Rules:

Each puzzle consists of a 3x3 grid and a set of statements. The letters in the word DISHWATER are to be placed into the grid such that all statements are true. Each set of statements leads to a unique solution.

Try this sample puzzle:

• W is not in the right column
• W and S are in the same column
• S is not in the bottom row
• A and T are not in the same column
• S and E are in the same column
• D is in the bottom row
• H is in a corner
• I, W and T are all in the same row
• I is not in the middle row
• T is not in a corner
